Friday's clinics will focus on classic skiing for both k-2nd, and 3rd-6th grade.

Saturday's clinics will focus on skate skiing for the 3rd-6th graders.  k-2nd will stick to the "fun"damentals of classic skiing, with more snow, fun, and games.

Clinic Outline and Gear List

Our kid’s clinics feature a morning and afternoon of fun activities and skiing.  For the younger group we will be busy working on ski skills while playing games, following animal tracks, making snow angels and snow forts and having fun.  Extra gear can be left in our base at the Povah Center where we can warm up if the weather is really cold.

Other Great Kids Options!

The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center provides visitors to the Yellowstone area an opportunity to observe, learn and appreciate grizzly bears and gray wolves.  They open 365 days a year, including holidays, (GWDC bears do not hibernate).  The education team at the center has put together a full week of programs designed for children attending the Yellowstone Ski Festival.

Click HERE for their flier complete with program details.

The GWDC is located just one block from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park and one block south of the IMAX Theater.  Adult rates are $10.50, kids $5.50 (both good for 2 consecutive days) or consider a year family membership for $65.  A visit to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center is a great way to round out your ski vacation or any trip to West Yellowstone.
