5-Day Skate & Classic Technique, Training Tactics (Tues Nov. 22 – Saturday Nov. 26): $375
This clinic is designed for a intermediate to advanced skier who would like in-depth focus on technique, training and race tactics. Each day will begin with a short indoor session to introduce technique followed by two on-snow sessions, ½ day (morning) classic skiing and ½ day (afternoon) skate skiing. The focus for the clinics will be on technique with specific attention to efficiency and power on varying terrain. Building your training base will come naturally as we spend significant time on skis throughout the camp. In addition, the 5-day camp will incorporate on-snow training concepts and racing tactics. New this year will be a video analysis session which is a powerful learning tool. Each camp participant will be video-ed on snow then review the video with a coach and identify areas for personal focus. Clinic participants should be sure to bring both classic (waxable) and skate skis to West Yellowstone (see Ski Equipment). Register
3-Day Skate & Classic Technique for Performance (Thur Nov. 24 – Saturday Nov. 26): $260
This clinic is the most popular clinic we offer. These clinics are open to all level skiers who want to become more efficient in both classic and skate techniques. Each day will begin with a short indoor session to introduce technique followed by two on-snow sessions, ½ day (morning) classic skiing and ½ day (afternoon) skate skiing. The focus for the clinics will be on technique with specific attention to efficiency and power on varying terrain. Building your training base will come naturally as we spend significant time on skis throughout the clinics. The more advanced skier groups will address training concepts and race tactics in on snow sessions. Participants will be divided into groups based on ability. Clinic participants should be sure to bring both classic (waxable) and skate skis to West Yellowstone (see Ski Equipment). Register
Women 3-Day Skate & Classic Technique for Performance (Thur Nov. 24 – Saturday Nov. 26): $260
This clinic is coincidently for women and is taught by female instructors creating a relaxed and effective learning environment. This clinic include all the exercises to improve technique and all of the on snow exercises in the regular 3-day clinic (see above). In addition, there is a wine, women, and wax session on Friday at 4:00 PM (after skiing) hosted by SWIX professional and coach, Jack Hart. Participants will enjoy a wine and cheese party while getting hands on waxing advice and techniques. Register

1-Day Learn to Skate Ski: (Fri. Nov 25): $90
This is an introductory clinic designed for folks who are new to Skate skiing. The clinic will cover an introduction to skate ski equipment, and skate ski technique. The goal of this clinic is for new skate skiers to learn basic movements for skate skiing and to be able to skate ski on beginner trails. Register

This clinic is being added to accommodate more 1-day skate clinic interest. The Saturday 1-day skate clinic is almost full. This clinic is open to all abilities. Participants will be divided into smaller groups by ability. Register

These Classic specific clinics are open to all level skiers who want to focus on Classic technique. The on snow clinics will focus on learning technique that allows you to be efficient and powerful on various terrain. Participants will be divided into groups based on ability. We recommend that clinic participants use wax-able classic skis for this clinic (see Ski Equipment). Register
1-Day Learn to Classic Ski (Sat Nov. 26): $90
This is an introductory clinic designed for folks who are new to cross country skiing. The clinic will cover an introduction to ski equipment, body position, balance and efficiency on skis. The goal of this clinic is for new skiers to become comfortable on skis and able to enjoy skiing on beginner to intermediate trails. Clinic participants can use wax or waxless classic skis for this clinic. Register
2-Day Jr. Clinic XC FUN-damentals(Fri Nov. 25 – Sat Nov.26): $175
This is a clinic for junior skier age 12 – 15 who have some experience on both classic and skate skis. Focus will be on learning efficient technique while having fun. Call Drew Barney at (406) 646-9379 to sign up
1-Day Coaching the Coaches: How to Teach Nordic Skiing (Wed Nov 23): $75
The one day Instructor's clinic is designed for aspiring and current Nordic Ski Instructors. Topics covered will include Progression, Presentation, Movement Analysis (how to pick out what a skier is doing well and what they need to work on), and Exercises to develop the skiers skill set. The morning will cover how to teach classic skiing, the afternoon will cover how to teach skate skiing. Please come prepared with appropriate equipment for each discipline (waxable or waxless classic skis are fine). This clinic is open to anyone, no teaching experience necessary, and it is not a PSIA certification event. Register

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds for paid camp fees are not given, no exceptions please. We are happy to accommodate transfers. In the event that the camp is cancelled because of poor snow conditions (note: this has never happened before), clinic fees less processing fees will be reimbursed.
