2014 Clinic information and registration will be available Sept 1.

There are several clinics to choose from.  Please page down to see them all.  Clinic registration includes trail pass for duration of clinic.  Please direct all clinic related questions to Emily Lovett: emilym@springsips.com or Drew Barney: (406) 646 9379 (evenings)

Something to consider when choosing a clinic:  The 3 day and 5 day clinics are two of the best we offer.  All clinics includes the top notch coaching, however we find that the 3 day or 5 day format gives the skier valuable time on snow with a variety of coaches.  It's often the third day where skiers feel a "break through" and develop more confidence on their skis.

5-Day Skate & Classic Technique, Training, Tactics (Tues. Nov. 26 – Saturday Nov. 30):   $385

This clinic is designed for a intermediate to advanced skier who would like in-depth focus on technique, training and race tactics.  Each day will begin with a short indoor session to introduce technique followed by two on-snow sessions, ½ day (morning) classic skiing and ½ day (afternoon) skate skiing.  The focus for the clinics will be on technique with specific attention to efficiency and power on varying terrain.   Building your training base will come naturally as we spend significant time on skis throughout the camp.  Race tactics, on-snow training concepts (speed, strength, agility) will be incorporated throughout the week.  Clinic participants should be sure to bring both classic (waxable) and skate skis to West Yellowstone.

The 2-Day Skate & Classic Tune Up (Tues. Nov. 26 – Wed. Nov. 27):  $185

This clinic is open to all level skiers who want to become more efficient in both classic and skate techniques.  Each day will begin with a short indoor session to introduce technique followed by two on-snow sessions, ½ day (morning) classic skiing and ½ day (afternoon) skate skiing.  The focus for the clinics will be on technique with specific attention to efficiency and power on varying terrain.   Participants will be divided into groups based on ability.  Clinic participants should be sure to bring both classic (wax-able) and skate skis to West Yellowstone.

3-Day Skate & Classic Technique for Performance (Thur. Nov. 28 – Saturday Nov. 30):  $270

The clinic is open to all level skiers who want to become more efficient in both classic and skate techniques.  Each day will begin with a short indoor session to introduce technique followed by two on-snow sessions, ½ day (morning) classic skiing and ½ day (afternoon) skate skiing.  The focus for the clinics will be on technique with specific attention to efficiency and power on varying terrain.   Building your training base will come naturally as we spend significant time on skis throughout the clinics.  The more advanced skier groups will address training concepts (speed, strength, agility) and race tactics in on snow sessions.  Participants will be divided into groups based on ability.  Clinic participants should be sure to bring both classic (waxable) and skate skis to West Yellowstone.
